Production: 23,000 tonnes
China began increasing its hazelnut production in 2000 and continued with steady growth over the years. Almost every year, since 2000, there has been an increase by 1 tonne. In 2013, China reached its peak in hazelnut production with 23,000 tonnes, the same amount the country produced a year later.
