6 Jesus and Christianity Conspiracy Theories

Religion has been around for a long time, people always seeking something to believe in, some greater being that will help them out in times of need, but people have also been quite reticent to believe just about everything, which is why we’re going to take a look at 6 Jesus and Christianity Conspiracy Theories.

The world has seen dozens upon dozens of Gods. The Greeks and the Romans had a whole group of Gods they believed in, the Indian have a lot of those as well. Then there are the Christians, the Muslim, the Jews, the Buddhists, and so on, each believing in their own Maker and each believing theirs is the true faith. Whether any or all are right we shall probably never really know, or at least, not as long as we’re alive, if we’re to believe in the afterlife.

6. Jesus isn’t real

Yes, there is a theory out there stating that Jesus was actually invented by the Roman Empire. The theory came about after a controversial American biblical scholar published a book stating the above. His claims indicate that Christianity wasn’t even a religion in the beginning, but rather a very sophisticated propaganda that was used to pacify the people in the Roman Empire.

5. Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene

There are those who prefer to see Jesus as a perfect individual that had no human needs and desires and those who see him a flawed being, just like everybody else. The latter believe that Mary Magdalene was more than just Jesus’ follower; they believe she was his wife. More so, some even go as far as to say that the two had children, which would mean there are people out there that come from Jesus himself, making this one of 6 Jesus and Christianity conspiracy theories.

3. The Templar Knights

The Knights Templar were a Western Christian military order that had huge amounts of wealth and power. Endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church, they were some of the most prominent fighters during the Crusades. There are people who believe they are still real and continue fighting to protect one of the secrets they unveiled in their battles, namely the identity of Jesus’ children. Many books have been written about this, mostly fictional.

1. The hallucinations

One conspiracy theory claims that Jesus’ disciples were hallucinating and that they did not, in fact, see Jesus come back to life. Many believe this is not true, however, since hallucinations are, generally, things that happen to separate individuals not large groups of people.
