Being among highest ranked for 2017, Stanford University, the number three on our list of biomedical engineering summer programs for high school students also offers great summer biomedical engineering programs for high school students. There are many summer programs students can participate in, among which medical research programs that include biomedical engineering branches: stem cell research, ITI (Immunity Transplantation and Infection), bioinformatics…Courses are 8-weeks long and each student is mentored by their own tutor. The important part of work is being held in labs. Students will also have: field trip to the local biotech company, opportunity to hear guest speakers, seminars on college and future careers, poster session at the end of the program.
