5. Slovakia

Slovakia is another country whose citizens demonstrate unhealthy lifestyles. High blood pressure, obesity, smoking, and high blood sugar are the four most common reasons for the death of its residents in 2017. The four factors caused the deaths of 15,433, 8,380, 8,241, and 7,253 people in the country. In 2016, 20.5% of its total residents were reportedly obese, which led to 15.88% of all deaths in the following year. 30.1% of all residents above the age of 15 were tobacco consumers in 2016 and consumed 11.5 liters of pure alcohol the same year. Reportedly, 47.77% of all the deaths that occurred in 2017 were due to some form of heart disease.
