Continuing the trend of European countries dominating our list is Vestas, which is a Danish company. Vestas is also one of the oldest companies in our list, having been established 75 years ago back in 1945. While it may have been founded in Denmark, it has extensive operations in several countries which include India, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Brazil, Poland, the United States of America and even China. The company employs more than 25,000 people globally and had revenues exceeding 12 billion euros while the net income was approximately 700 million euros. Apart from extensive operations in these countries, Vestas has also installed more than 66,000 wind turbines that have a capacity exceeding 100 GW in more than 80 countries in at last 5 continents across the world.
