5. Nordex SE

Nordex is the second biggest Germany wind energy company and is headquartered in Hamburg. The company was founded 35 years ago back in 1985 and was initially actually founded in Denmark. In 1995, it became the first company in the world to develop a 1 MW turbine booster and earned close to 4 billion euros in 2019.
