Till last year, Symphony of the Seas was the biggest cruise ship in the world, before being surpassed by its sister ship in 2022, in terms of gross tonnage. Unsurprisingly, it is also owned by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE:RCL). Symphony of the Seas was built in 2018 at a cost of $1.35 billion. There are tons of amenities on board for guests including a full-size basketball court, four swimming pools, nearly two dozen restaurants and a zip line which is 10 decks high, not to mention an aquatic theater as well as a park which boasts more than 20,000 plants.
