Allure of the Seas is the first of the top five ships operated by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE:RCL), a company based in Miami but incorporated in Liberia as is common for most cruise ship companies. Built in 2006 at a cost of $1.2 billion, Allure of the Seas was the largest passenger cruise ship in the world at the time of its launch, but has since fallen down the list due to its sister ships being launched over the last decade and a half.

Operated by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE:RCL), Oasis of the Seas was constructed in 2009, when it set a record for being the first cruise ship to have a capacity of more than 6,000 people. Oasis of the Seas was the first in the “Oasis” line and was constructed at a cost of $1.4 billion. The total crew of the company numbers 2,181 currently and the ship has an ice-skating rink, zip-line, mini golf course, karaoke club, comedy club, basketball and volleyball courts and even a promenade shopping area among its many facilities. During the Covid-19 pandemic, fourteen crew members aboard the Oasis of the Seas tested positive for Covid-19 with seven crew members then being hospitalized. Three of them ended up dying from their symptoms.

There are tons of amenities on board for guests including a full-size basketball court, four swimming pools, nearly two dozen restaurants and a zip line which is 10 decks high, not to mention an aquatic theater as well as a park which boasts more than 20,000 plants.

Harmony of the Seas was constructed in 2016 and contains more than 2,700 staterooms in addition to several water-based attractions such as a large dry slide complex, multiple water slides, 3 swimming pools and two surf simulators. A 1,400 seat theater and 20 dining venues in addition to thousands of art-works just add to the prestige and experience of traveling in the ship.
