5. Netherlands
Total Vodka Exports in 2022: $137.71 million
The port of Rotterdam plays a major role in the redistribution of goods through Europe, so foreign vodkas are first imported into the Netherlands and then re-exported to the rest of the European countries.
The country is also home to the Ketel One Vodka brand, produced at the Nolet Distillery in the heart of Schiedam. Distilled in copper pot stills, this 80 proof vodka is carefully crafted using non-GMO European wheat for smoothness and neutrality.
In 2008, Diageo and the Nolet family reached an agreement to form a new company under which the former would pay $900 million to become the world’s exclusive distributor of Ketel One vodka. The Nolet family continues to own the brand rights for Ketel One.
Ketel One Vodka boasted sales of 3.2 million 9-liter cases worldwide in 2022.

Once again, vodka was the largest spirits category in the U.S. last year, boasting sales of 80.6 million 9L cases. In June 2023, 70% of consumers in the country demonstrated a penchant for vodka-based RTD beverages, establishing vodka’s role also in the canned beverage space.
American vodka exports witnessed a massive surge last year, up almost 49% from 2021 when they stood at $93.35 million. The U.S. is home to a number of popular vodka brands like Tito’s, SKYY etc. which are distributed to a number of markets around the globe.
