3. New International Version
We are continuing our list of best and most accurate bible translations according to scholars with NIV that was completed in 1978 by 115 evangelical scholars from the USA, England, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. It is one of the best-selling Bibles in English. According to both Wallace and Dr. Norman Geisler, NIV is very literate and in that sense accurate. There is Today’s New International Version as well, from 2005, but it wasn’t as accepted by the academic community as NIV, primarily because it uses gender-neutral language to refer to people.
