The 32 NFL teams have an average worth of about $1.17 billion, approximately 5% more than last year, making American football the most lucrative league sport in the world. Following, we would like to present you with a list we have compiled of the top 20 most valuable NFL teams in 2013. The teams were ranked according to their current value, based on figures issued earlier this year by Forbes Magazine. We have also included the teams’ revenues and operating incomes for the year 2012. For the seventh year in a row, the Dallas Cowboys take the title of most valuable NFL team. In July 2013, the team signed a 25-year deal with AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) for a whopping half a billion dollars.

The New England Patriots placed second in our countdown, with a total net worth of $1.8 billion and a revenue for the year 2012 of $408 million.
