Everyone is struggling with jobs. We either can’t find one or we are stuck doing a miserable job with a lousy pay that makes us desperate all the time. The job market is so tough nowadays that it’s our priority as well as our biggest problem. We wrote about the difficulties we face when looking for a job many times so far and even though it’s usually the same, there is always something new to say about it.

Jobs make us feel stressed out and frustrated regardless of whether we’re employed or not. If you’re lucky enough to be employed, then, the chances are that you really dislike your job because of a minimum wage or an awful schedule. If you’re looking for a job, then you have to send your resume a million times a day, go to endless interviews, and all so that you can be rejected in the end because you’re not qualified for the job. Why does this keep happening?

Well, for starters, every employer wants a qualified worker who already knows how to do a job. Years of studying alone are simply not enough. So what can you do if you’re fresh out of college or high school? You don’t have any working experience and your options are limited. Even though you’re talented, educated, and many of the jobs you’d like to apply for are easy anyway and require minimum effort, you still get rejected.

Have you ever wondered whether you’re looking in wrong places? You probably have since there really are jobs that pay a decent salary and that don’t require previous experience. So as I was saying, there are jobs for you out there even if you lack working experience. But how to find them? I must say that we often oversee many job opportunities simply because we forgot about them. I must also mention the fact that the job market has expanded and does not require us to go out to seek employment. Thanks to the Internet, we can not only look for a job online but we can work online too. Working from home is becoming more and more popular as a great number of people are fed up with office jobs and demanding employers. Finding a job online is easier, especially for those without experience, and many people are also switching from their 9 to 5 jobs to freelancing. Personally, I find working from home to be much more pleasurable than having to get up early and leave the house every morning, and a happy worker is a productive worker.

 So how did we find jobs that don’t require any experience and pay at least $10 per hour? It required some serious researching on Indeed, Flex Jobs, Dream Home Based Work, etc. but it was worth it because we managed to find what you need. Even though many of these jobs are entry level, the pay is still at least $10 an hour or higher. Many of the jobs we included on our list are home based which is great for those who don’t really like socializing that much. It is also a great start of your career as you will have something to put in your resume when you’re looking for a job in the future.

11. Delivery Driver

Delivery drivers are always needed and it’s pretty easy to find employment. All you need for this job is to have a clean driver’s license and you’re eligible to apply. The job is pretty simple and you don’t need any previous experience to start working as a delivery driver which is great if you’re only starting a career. The median hourly pay for a delivery driver is $13.51 although some pay slightly less.

10. Data Entry

Usually, a high school diploma is required to become a data entry operator, the next one on the list of jobs that pay $10 an hour with no experience. Other than that, you will need to be able to type fast of course, as this is what you’ll do most of the time. If your typing speed isn’t great, you can practice before applying. There are many places to find data entry work online, and while some of them do require knowledge of software programs, many of them do not. The average hourly pay is $12.93, though it can be less or more.

9. Maid

The median pay for a maid is $10.23 although this depends greatly on the city and several other factors such as working experience. Although it helps, you are not required to have working experience to start working as a maid. The hours can be flexible so this is great for balancing with other everyday duties.

8. Entry Level Customer Service

An entry level remote customer service job that ranks 8th on our list of jobs that pay $10 an hour with no experience can be found easily and many of them don’t require previous working experience as the jobs are fairly easy or seasonal. You can work from home and earn about $10 an hour. Some of them pay slightly less in the beginning but you can get more once you’ve gained some experience.

7. Chat Jobs

Chat jobs are a pretty easy way to earn some money while being at home so we simply had to include it in our list of 11 jobs that pay $10 an hour with no experience. No previous experience is necessary and your job includes talking about well-known brands with customers. We found no information about salaries for chat jobs on PayScale or Glassdoor, but according to Dream Home Based Work, the starting salary for some of these jobs is $10 an hour (The Chat Shop)  so there is room for improvement.

6. Tutoring

Teaching has never been easier. You can become an ESL tutor even if you don’t have any tutoring experience. There are plenty of websites where you can register, pass a test or something, and start tutoring. The best part about this job is that the schedule is flexible so you can work at your convenience. Sessions can be 30 minutes or an hour, so the pay varies but many of them offer $10 an hour for a session. If your first language is English you can try SameSpeak which pays $10 per session.

5. Telephone Research

Usually, no previous experience is necessary to become a telephone researcher. So what are your main duties? You conduct phone research interviews and you work from phone. PayScale or Dream Home Based Work didn’t provide any information on pay rate, but based on Glassdoor, average hourly pay is between 7-8 British pounds or about $10.

4. School Bus Driver

For this job you really don’t need any previous experience since all it takes is a clean driver’s license and readiness to work in the morning and in the afternoon. One of the perks of being a school bus driver is that you’re free whenever the kids are free, meaning that you have all the holidays off. The hourly pay rate starts at $11.41 though it may be higher depending on the school. Now, let’s see the top three on our list of jobs that pay $10 an hour with no experience.

3. Virtual Assistant

While experience is a plus for getting a job as a virtual assistant, it is not required so you can get a job even if you’ve never done anything like it before. As a virtual assistant, you will perform various tasks such as invoicing or doing research, and you can do it from anywhere in the world. The pay is usually around $10, although some pay per task and not per hour. VickyVirtual, for example, pays a flat rate of $10 an hour.

2. Garbage Collector

Except being physically fit and able to lift heavy things, you don’t need much else to start working as a garbage collector, the number two on our list of jobs that pay $10 an hour with no experience. No previous experience is necessary, but you do have to get up before the dawn. Hourly rate starts at $10.02, though it can be much higher. The good part is that you’re free most of the holidays and you also get some perks such as bonuses and union benefits.

1. Security Guard

The last job of the 11 jobs that pay $10 an hour with no experience is perfect for guys. Although a high school diploma can be all that is required for this position, the requirements are not the same everywhere. You may need a clean criminal record or even pass a drug test, depending on the employer but no previous experience is necessary. The median hourly pay for a security guard is $10.95.
