6. Vietnam

Vietnam’s tea industry is third in the country by the power and scale; around 220,000 tons of the tea plants and brews are produced in the country. French colonists brought tea in Vietnam in 1880, and started the first plantation in Pho Tho province. From then, they have seen the potential of expanding and growth, and the industry started developing. Special tea blends of jasmine and lotus from Vietnam are among the most expensive in the world.
