Top 8 Places to Visit in Venezuela Before You Die

5. National Pantheon of Venezuela

The word ‘pantheon’ comes from the ancient Greek, meaning ‘temple of all gods’. This pantheon is built on the northern edge of Caracas, and is now a resting place for national heroes (although previously it was built as a church). If you’re interested in the history of Venezuela, this is certainly not something to miss. The centre is dedicated to Simón Bolívar, a famous military leader.
