At a first glance, it might seem odd why we have chosen referees for our countdown. But if you think about it, what other professionals are disrespected and yelled at, even though they’re doing a flawless job? With referees, there is no win-win situation. Regardless of the particular day or match, there’s always one side that’s going to be completely infuriated against the referee.
