Being a teacher is one of the most thankless professions out there, and this is especially true in the case of high school teachers. Despite playing an influential role in educating the young, teachers rarely receive the respect they deserve. Few students and parents nowadays take the time to appreciate a teacher for the hard work put into motivating, inspiring, and modeling the minds of children.
