Dunkin Brands Group Inc (NASDAQ:DNKN) is playing in the ice cream market through its global chain of Baskin-Robbins parlors. Baskin Robbins offers a variety of over 50 flavors, which could satisfy the appetite of even the most capricious customer. Even though it offers a variety of products aside from ice cream, the latter still remains one of its top products, which made the brand well-known all around the globe.
Unilever N.V. (ADR) (NYSE:UN) owns Ben and Jerry’s, which is involved in the production of ice cream. The company produces many flavors among which is “Peach Cobbler”, “Chocolate Mint Cookie”, or even “Mud Pie”. The original names for flavors combined with their huge variety makes this company special and attractive for customers.
Another popular brand is Häagen-Dazs, which is owned by General Mills, Inc. (NYSE:GIS). The company produces over 30 flavors of ice cream, and has a couple of “limited edition” flavors as well. Currently ice-cream made by Häagen-Dazs is available in over 50 countries around the world.
