No. 4: The Paper Tree

In an attempt to reduce the loss of trees due to paper waste, Swiss researchers have come up with a tree that grows leaves which, when left to dry, can be used in the same fashion as recycled paper. Since the first genetically modified tree has been a success, the company now grows several such organisms.
