It may not be the highest grossing animated film ever but it has brought in huge merchandise sales. The franchise has been so successful that it warranted the opening of its own theme park! In 2012, Disney opened “Cars Land” in California where all the scenes in the movie come to life. Best of all? Cars 3 is set to be released on June 16, 2017. So get ready for more McQueen!
