What’s This Competitor Trying To Do To Apple Inc. (AAPL), Google Inc (GOOG)?

When you think about technology, such as tablets and smart watches, the first two companies that come to mind are probably Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG). These tech giants have been at the top of the game for a long time, and there is no reason to believe this is going to change anytime soon (you may find this story interesting).

Does this mean the competition is going to roll over and die? Definitely not. There are many companies out there hoping to bite into the market share carved out by Apple and Google. LG is one such company.

According to a recent report by PocketDroid, LG has registered a variety of terms with the Korean Intellectual Property Office including GPad, G Link, G Band, G Watch, G Glass, and G Hub.

What does all this mean? It may mean nothing for the time being, but it definitely shows that the company may have plans to get involved in the smart watch and tablet markets on a deeper level. If this happens, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) will have another competitor to deal with.
