LeBeau discussed with Reuss at the ongoing Auto Show in Detroit. Reuss said that at the back of a very successful CES for electronics, this Auto Show has gained the energy. Reuss mentioned that General Motors Company (NYSE:GM)’s new pickup trucks, Colorado and Canyon is considered as mid-sized trucks, but he feels that they are of almost similar size to GM’s Silverado and Sierra pickup trucks. He feels that this new pickup truck will reinvent the mid-sized segment. He feels that appetite for mid-sized trucks has gone up in United States. He feels that the next generation Volt might gain them some profits.

“We haven’t announced the pricing on that yet, but when we do, I think you will be surprised at the value piece of this and the amount of money and some of the efficiency that we put into the battery. […] We are in in for the long haul,” Reuss said.

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM)’s CEO Mary Barra had earlier announced about the electric vehicle named ‘Bolt’ which was hyped as it could achieve a 200 Mile range. But is it really achievable.  Ruess feels that it is achievable. He added that it is going to be a surprise for a lot of people.
