Sweden has selected Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT)’s TPY-4 next-generation ground-based air surveillance radar to enhance regional deterrence and bolster its defense capabilities, the company announced on Wednesday.

The delivery of the radar systems will begin in 2027. Sweden has become the third country to opt for the fifth-generation radar platform. The TPY-4 will support the Swedish Air Force’s national defense requirements.
