Martin Whitman’s Third Avenue Cuts Exposure at Stanley Furniture

Martin Whitman‘s Third Avenue Management disclosed, in a new filing, decreasing its position in Stanley Furniture Co. (NASDAQ:STLY) to 319,966 shares, from over 1.64 million reported in its latest 13F. The stake is passive by nature and amasses 2.21% of Stanley Furniture’s common stock. Last week,  John W. Rogers‘ Ariel Investments reported initiating a 2.1 million shares position in the same company.
