Mark Gallogly and Jeffrey Aronson’s Centerbridge Credit Partners still see many opportunities in the market. New Jersey Division of Investment invested another $40 Million with Centerbridge last month, bringing their total investment to $140 Million. New Jersey’s pension fund is more than $70 Billion in size.

According to a memo from Timothy M. Walsh, the Division of Investment’s director, Centerbridge returned negative 23.2% in 2008, 62.5% in 2009, and 17.4% during the first 11 months of 2010. Centerbridge Partners has nearly $6 Billion AUM.
