Mario Gabelli and Gamco Lower Stake in Strattec Security

Strattec Security Corp, Gamco Investors: The position held by Mario Gabelli‘s Gamco Investors in Strattec Security Corp. (NASDAQ:STRT) recently edged down to 223,000 shares, from 245,409 shares disclosed in Gamco’s last 13F. Gabelli now holds 6.8% of the company, with the position’s value amounting to some $9.15 million.

Today, Strattec Security Corporation reported about its Board of Directors announcing of a cash dividend for the second quarter of its fiscal 2014. The dividend is worth $0.11 per share and is payable December 27. Strattec posted net sales worth $80.5 million for the last quarter of its fiscal 2013, versus $76.4 million a year ago. The net income of the company amounted to $3.2 million, flat on the year, while the EPS decreased to $0.92, from $0.97 in the last quarter of the fiscal 2012.

Aside from Gamco, Chuck Royce‘s Royce & Associates reported holding 150,oo shares of Strattec at the end of the second quarter. Jim Simons‘ Renaissance Technologies owned just 41,965 shares in the same period.
