Treatment was also associated with declines in several biomarkers linked to heart failure risk, including NT-proBNP. The findings supported further investigation of lorundrostat’s potential role in addressing biological pathways involved in heart failure.

The offering is expected to generate approximately $150 million in gross proceeds before fees and expenses. MLYS plans to use the net proceeds to help fund a portion of the $200 million upfront payment related to the repurchase of its royalty obligation under its license agreement with Tanabe Pharma Corporation. The offering followed the company’s announcement of a $500 million committed debt facility managed by Pharmakon Advisors.
