Google Talking Shoe: Is a Google Talking Show Really Coming?

Google Talking Shoe: Earlier today, we posted an article talking about the Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Glass. This is a cutting edge, wearable device that is sure to drum up a lot of interest when finally released for sale in the near future. However, the search engine giant does not appear to be stopping there.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) is one of the hedge fund industry’s most popular stock picks, but it’s been displaced by a financial stock recently (see which one here).

What do you think about a Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) shoe that can talk? As crazy as this may sound, it is something the company has been touting; most recently at South by Southwest.

According to a report by All Things Digital, “Google showed off a “” for the first time at the Austin tech and culture event, an aptly named hybrid of silicon, sneaker and sass.”

Even though this may be the first time the shoe has been displayed to the public, and right now it may appear a bit silly, nobody should take the company’s products for granted at this point. After all, this is the same company that is about to release a pair of glasses that can do extraordinary things.

Here is some more information on the shoe, from the same All Things Digital article:

“It’s very much a prototype design, with a massive conical speaker slapped onto the shoe’s tongue, and a host of about 250 phrases that the small computer spits out at you, depending on differing factors, including whether you’re stationary, walking, running or just ambling along. An accelerometer, gyroscope and pressure sensors are embedded within the shoe itself, so it’s constantly measuring how much activity you’re exerting.”

Yes, this sounds nuts. Yes, it is crazy to think that this type of show may make its way to market in the future. But remember, if anybody is capable of pulling it off it would be Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG).
