Ingersoll-Rand Plc (IR) gained 1.41% on the day, closing at $28.80. This marks the second day in a row that IR has gained. IR hit its 52-week low of $25.86 on October 4, 2011 and has been rising steadily since. IR has a market cap of $9.53 billion and a PE ratio of 10.91. It also offers a dividend yield of 1.67%.
