Shanda Asset Management is also relatively very bullish on the stock, designating 1.36 percent of its 13F equity portfolio to BNTX.

Consequently, key hedge funds have been driving this bullishness. Renaissance Technologies, assembled the largest position in BioNTech SE (NASDAQ:BNTX). As you can see these stocks had an average of 38 hedge funds with bullish positions and the average amount invested in these stocks was $3332 million. That figure was $579 million in BNTX’s case. Aon plc (NYSE:AON) is the most popular stock in this table. On the other hand Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (NYSE:TAK) is the least popular one with only 19 bullish hedge fund positions. BioNTech SE (NASDAQ:BNTX) is not the least popular stock in this group but hedge fund interest is still below average. Our overall hedge fund sentiment score for BNTX is 38. Stocks with higher number of hedge fund positions relative to other stocks as well as relative to their historical range receive a higher sentiment score.
