Envestnet: Who Owns the Top NYSE Gainer on Friday?

Envestnet, gainer: In late Friday trading, there have been plenty of volatile movers as usual, and the top gainer on the NYSE is Envestnet Inc (NYSE:ENV). The wealth management focused software company has seen its shares rise more than 14% today on the back of a newly announced public offering. The offering will consist of a little over 5.04 million shares of Envestnet stock, and will be carried out at $29.25 a share.

With that being said, this has been an exceptionally good day for a few hedge fund managers and other prominent investors. These guys are going to have a good weekend if they chose to stick with this small cap since the last round of 13F filings. Here’s Envestnet’s only hedge fund shareholders, among the funds we track:

Interestingly, as the data shows, hedge funds managed by Israel EnglanderKen Griffin and Andy Redleaf elected to sell the stock last quarter.
