Apple Inc. (AAPL): Will Its Dividend Boost Have to Wait?

If Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) does so, Piecyk would consider it a somewhat superficial move. Padding soft results with a dividend announcement could be seen as a cop out, as sometimes other companies will use this tactic to distract from poor financial performance by flashing incoming cash in investors’ faces (“Hey, look over here!”).

With earnings now a week away, it’s incredibly unlikely that any dividend news will come before results. Will the boost come during or after?
