(NASDAQ:AMZN) has just announced that it is adding two new cities to its Amazon Now one-hour delivery coverage.

As of today,, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) users who are Prime subscribers can get one-hour delivery on certain items if the delivery area is within certain zip codes in Baltimore or Miami.

In a statement, Dave Clark, Amazon’s senior vice president of worldwide operations, said that customers in Manhattan and Brooklyn “love Prime Now” as it lets them forego a trip to the store to get the items they need. Instead, using Prime Now gets those needed items delivered to their doors in under an hour.

Furthermore, Clark said that, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has seen high demand for “everything from essentials like water and paper towels to more surprising deliveries like getting a customer a hard-to-find, top-selling toy in 23 minutes”.

He said that the company is “excited” to expand the service and fulfill deliveries in “record-breaking time”., Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) launched the Prime Now service in December in certain parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The service costs $7.99.

According to the electronic commerce giant, it will be rapidly expanding its delivery areas in Baltimore and Miami soon. The company encourages people in these cities to download the Prime Now app for iOS or Android devices.

Ken Griffin’s Citadel Investment Group upped its, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) stake by a whopping 4,544% quarter over quarter by the end of the last quarter of 2014.
