A Big Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Update To Watch

Over the past few months, we have published quite a few stories touching on Spotify in some way, shape, or form. Not all of these stories were associated with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), but this time around we are going to bring you an update that touches on both companies.

Digital Spy is reporting that the Windows Phone 8 Spotify app has excited beta. Making this even more exciting for users is the fact that the app has gained new features, many of which will make the experience even more enjoyable.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)

Here is a brief excerpt from the piece:

“The full version of the music streaming app now includes track scrubbing, improved offline playlists and support for numerous additional languages.”

As you can see, the full version of the app for the Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Phone 8 has quite a few additional features, such as improve offline playlists, that will make it more enjoyable for users.

If you don’t believe this information to be true, let’s consider the fact that Windows Phone executive Joe Belfiore was the first one to break the story, using Twitter to share the following:

“Hey music lovers… today #Spotify for #WP8 is out of beta! A big update: more languages, offline playlist improvements, track scrubbing!”

This was posted on July 7, 2013 at 11:29 PM.

The Digital Spy article went on to add even more information:

“Spotify for Windows Phone 8 includes all of the same features as its Android and iOS counterparts, granting subscribers access to a music library containing millions of tracks.

Account holders can compile playlists, share music with friends and take advantage of a range of app-based add-on services.”

While this update is important to Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Phone 8, there is something else to keep in mind: the app is on par with the one offered by the Android and iOS operating systems. This means that Microsoft is not losing out on anything to the competition, which is a huge deal as the phone continues to search for ways to grab market share from industry leaders.

If you are a Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Phone 8 user, this app may be just what you have been searching for. Those who are unsure of what it has to offer or simply want to learn more can view the video on the next page. It is here that you can view a demo of the app.
