6 States Where The Rich Are Getting Poorer and The Poor Are Getting Richer

It looks like there are places where the American dream may come true and spoiled fat cats may get what’s coming to them. The Liberal Media has been complaining that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, and that we are all doomed. But this isn’t true in very state. Insider Monkey analyzed 2008 and 2009 income distribution tables and found 6 states where the rich are getting poorer and the poor are getting richer. Here is the list of 6 states leaning more to the left in 2009:

6. Rhode Island:  The income share of the poor increased by 0.1 points and the income share of the rich decreased by 0.1 points.

5. Maine:  The income share of the poor increased by 0.1 points and the income share of the rich decreased by 0.1 points.

4. Indiana:  The income share of the poor increased by 0.1 points and the income share of the rich decreased by 0.3 points.

3. Hawaii:  The income share of the poor increased by 0.2 points and the income share of the rich decreased by 0.2 points.

2. Mississippi:  The income share of the poor increased by 0.1 points andthe income share of the rich decreased by 0.8 points.
