Bend is situated in the Deschutes County of Oregon and is also the county seat. It is a high desert city and is known for its showcase of lava rock formations and old growth Juniper trees. The city has a growth rate of 3.8%, with a population of 83,526 in 2014 and 100,421 in 2019.

4. Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Located in the Rutherford county of Tennessee, Murfreesboro is home to the state’s largest undergraduate university, Middle Tennessee State University. It is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Murfreesboro has a growth rate of 4.0%. Its population grew from 120,808 in 2014 to 146,900 in 2019.
