1. Congo

Ranking 1st in our list and can be proclaimed as the most sexist country in the world is Congo. In Congo, progress on gender equality has been slow, and inequalities exist in all sectors. A significant number of these disparities exist at the legislative level. The WPS estimates that 25% of national laws are biased against men. This has severe repercussions for gender equality in the DRC. Moreover, men are nearly twice as likely as women to continue their education beyond the primary level in Congo.
