The company plans to halt hiring as it aims to replace approximately 7,800 jobs with AI in the near future. The hiring freeze will mainly impact back-office roles, such as those in human resources, with a projection that 30% of non-customer-facing positions could be automated within five years. 

Realizing how deeply integrated AI is everywhere, International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM) has decided to address the global AI skills gap by aiming to train 2 million individuals in AI within three years, focusing particularly on underrepresented communities. Methodology

To list the jobs AI will create, we did thorough research using credible sources like the World Economic Forum, Forbes, the Guardian, and LinkedIn. We shortlisted the 19 jobs with the highest consensus amongst the experts from each source. To quantify the consensus, we have given a score out of 30 for each job. A higher score means a greater likelihood of the job being created. 

Please note that while some of these positions may already exist within the industry, the demand for them is poised to increase largely in the future and hence, will largely surpass the current levels.
