7. Missouri
In the state of Missouri it is legal to purchase and carry a shotgun, rifle or handgun. Missouri does not prohibit open carrying of firearms but does prohibit displaying any weapon in a violent and threatening manner. Possessing, selling, repairing or transporting machine guns is unlawful in the state of Missouri.
