8. Malaysia

Malaysia is one of the world’s largest exporters of electrical devices, as well as IT and communication products. Although it is not entirely known as one of the biggest technological forces nowadays, there are about 200 industrial parks in Malaysia. In 2002, Malaysia began developing its own space program, and the government later invested in building satellites in, through the RazakSAT program. It is a rich country in gas, lumber, petroleum, gold, commerce, and as you all know – tourism. That is why it has taken the #8 on our list of most technologically advanced countries in Asia-Pacific.
