7. Salvador (state of Bahia)
If you are an avid fan of the Disney movie ‘UP’, then you’re familiar with the ‘Lost World’ or the ‘Paradise Falls’ Ellie has been wishing to see forever. When Ellie died, Carl and that little boy Russell, had an adventure to travel South America to set Carl and Ellie’s house on top of that Paradise Falls. While the Paradise Falls doesn’t exist in real life, the mountainous steep was copied from the Chapada Diamantina National Park in the state of Bahia and other ‘tepuis’ in South America such in Venezuela. If you’re brave and wise enough, this should be a safe place for you to consider trekking up to the top of the mountain! Gear up, and go up!
