In 1997, Edward Shapiro, 45 years old, joined the fund. Before joining Par Capital, Mr. Shapiro served as Vice President of Wellington Management Company between 1990 and 1997. Mr. Shapiro earned a BS in economics from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business in 1986 and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management in 1990 and currently serves as VP and Partner at Par Capital.
