Kevin Kenny founded Emerging Sovereign Group in 2002 with an initial investment from Julian Robertson's Tiger Management. Emerging Sovereign Group (ESG) focuses on emerging market equities and macroeconomic strategies. In 2011, Carlyle Group purchased a 55% stake in Emerging Sovereign Group. Tiger Management stil has a significant investment in ESG and Kevin Kenny is still in charge of its investments. Kevin Kenny worked at Morgan Stanley between 1996 and 2002. Kevin Kenny has a BA from Duke and an MBA from Wharton.
