Daniel Benton and Christopher James founded Andor Capital Management in 2001 after leaving Art Samberg's Pequot Capital Management. Andor had a good reputation as a long/short technology hedge fund but shut down during the 2008 financial crisis. Andor Capital managed $2 billion at that time. Christopher James left in 2004 and founded Partner Fund Management.
