HSBC Hedge Weekly, in its issue Nr. 48, has published a list of the best hedge fund returns. Out of the issue, we have selected the list with top 20 hedge funds which posted the highest returns. Earlier in September, we have covered the list presented in the 36th issue of the Hedge Weekly.
SFP Value Realization Fund had the highest gain of the top 20, returning 66.14%
Senvest Partners, LTD – Class A’s return amounted to 58.59%
Marlin Fund LP gained 57.75%
SR Global Fund H – Japan (Real Perf) advanced by 53.02%
BCM Weston LP had a return of 41.90%
John Paulson‘s Paulson Recovery Fund Ltd had a return of 41.63%; Paulson is also the manager of Paulson & Co
Owl Creek Overseas, Ltd had a return of 41.42%; Jeffrey Altman also runs Owl Creek Asset Management fund
Jabcap Global Balanced Fund Ltd Class D/1 NI gained 39.71%
Kinetics Fund, Inc – A/A advanced by 38.34%
The return of Pegasus Ucits Fund amounted to 38.25%
Jabcap Multi Strategy Fund Ltd Class D/1 NI returned 37.83%
Glenview Capital Partners (Cayman) Ltd, led by Larry Robbins, has a return of 37.48%
Joseph Edelman‘s Perceptive Life Sciences Offshore Fund, Ltd, gained 36.36%. Mr. Edelman also runs Perceptive Advisors
The return of Dorset Energy Fund, Ltd. – Class A amounted to 32.75%
The next on the list is Umj Kotoshiro Fund, which advanced by 31.98%
John Burbank‘s Passport Special Opportunities Fund Ltd Class AA gained 31.98%. Burbank is also the manager of Passport Capital
Palomino Fund Ltd Class B Original Series advanced by 31.47%
Joho Fund, Ltd-A- had a return of 29.59%. Robert Karr, also manages Joho Capital
Lansdowne Developed Market Fund, Ltd (GBP) closes the top 20 list, posting a return of 28.95. Paul Ruddock and Steve Heinz also run Lansdowne Partners fund.
