iPhone 5 T-Mobile: T-Mobile Bringing HD Voice to Apple iPhone 5

iPhone 5 T-Mobile: Earlier today, we published an article about the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5 finally makes its way to T-Mobile. Along with the smartphone becoming available on April 12, the carrier is excited about its new payment plan that will make the device more affordable to a larger number of people.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) to be Added to Several WisdomTree ETFsApple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may be the smart money’s second favorite publicly traded company but hedge funds have started dumping the Cupertino-based company in favor of a surprising financial stock (see which stock hedge funds are buying like crazy).

But wait, there is even more reason to be excited about the partnership between the Cupertino-based company and T-Mobile.

One of the biggest benefits of this partnership is the ability for customers to take advantage of HD Voice, something that is not yet available through any other carrier.

According to the company’s official press release, this feature will offer quite a bit:

“HD Voice – delivering nationwide crystal-clear high-definition calling and significantly reduced background noise. T-Mobile is the only U.S. carrier offering nationwide HD Voice for iPhone 5.”

Let that soak in for a second. The company is claiming that they are the only carrier in the United States offering nationwide HD Voice for the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5. This is quite remarkable given the fact that both AT&T and Verizon, two companies that have been working with Apple for quite some time, don’t yet offer this.

While the ability to purchase an iPhone 5 in a more traditional manner exists, the new payment plan by T-Mobile is sure to make big waves.

Those who are unable to afford a large upfront payment can opt for a $99 down payment followed by $20 subsequent monthly payments of $20.

Note: while the iPhone 5 is sure to garner a lot of attention, thanks to its many features, including HD Voice, the carrier plans to offer both the iPhone 4 and 4S in select markets throughout the country.

Do you think the fact that T-Mobile is the only carrier offering HD Voice will allow it to steal some market share from the competition? Share your opinion in the comment section below.
