A total of 38 funds owned $1.61 billion worth of stock at the end of the second quarter, versus 36 funds and $1.14 billion on March 31. Matt Sirovich and Jeremy Mindich’s Scopia Capital increased its position by 30% to 15.41 million shares, while Martin Whitman’s Third Avenue Management upped its holding by 14% to 7.56 million shares. John A. Levin’s Levin Capital Strategies hiked its position by 69% to 4.84 million shares too.
