Next Generation iPad: What Do Users Think?

Next Generation iPad: Are you interested in purchasing an Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad? No matter if you are doing so for the first time or are looking to upgrade from the version you currently have, there are going to be some questions that need answered.

Above all else, you have to consider the fact that Apple does have competition. In fact, the competition is heating up so much that consumers are no longer considering the iPad and nothing else.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) to be Added to Several WisdomTree ETFsAlong with this, there is something else that you have to focus on: when is the next Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad hitting the market? While you may be in a hurry to make your purchase, you may not want to do so if the next generation tablet is going to be made available to the public in the coming months. Maybe you will be better served to wait around before making a purchase.

This is a topic that has been hotly discussed on Reddit with a variety of opinions on when it makes sense to make a purchase.

As we discussed late last week, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is sure to be releasing its next iPad mini soon enough. Not only is this irking current owners of the mini, since many purchased their device new at the end of 2012, but it is making those in the market think twice before shelling out the cash.

Since we are unsure of when the next iPad is going to be released, those who want a tablet now may not want to wait around too long. Here is a response from one Reddit user, touching on some of the most important details:

“Right, it’s not like the new iPad is suddenly going to make yours seem super (censored) and old. Apple tends to be fairly incremental. The rumours are saying that the new one will look more like the current iPad Mini and be thinner/lighter, but if you go to a store and play with the 4th generation iPad and you don’t find the thickness/weight bothers you, then don’t worry about jumping on board. I have a 3rd gen and I don’t feel like it’s slow and laggy (I don’t play all the very latest 3D games on it, which probably makes a difference), but I did find my 2nd gen to be sluggish. I think that for everyday usage, the hardware currently has some headroom.”

With all this in mind, the most important thing to remember is this: you need to purchase your Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad when you are ready to do so. Does this mean a new version may be released just as you are getting familiar with the one you have? In some cases, yes. But don’t let this bother you.

Do you have any more advice for those on the fence as to when it is the best time to purchase an Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad?
