Habitat for Humanity is an Atlanta, Georgia-based charity which is focused on providing simple and affordable housing for the poor. The organization, which was founded in 1796, operates in US, Canda, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe and Central Asia. The charity’s private donations as of 2016 amount to $829 million.
