The show’s popularity has left people with a lot to say about the 10 biggest mistakes in American Horror Story. Although the show is excellently executed and has viewers waiting for every new episode like it’s an important event in their life (and it might as well be for a certain part of them), the show has certain plot holes and leaves certain questions unanswered. If this one TV show isn’t quite your cup of tea, though, you might be interested in checking another list we have on one of these hits of modern day entertainment titled “10 glaring plot holes in the walking dead that a zombie filled bus could drive through”.

Back to the topic at hand, however, we must agree that shows of this caliber are taking over as the new type of cinema. Statistics show a massive increase in popularity for TV dramas and sitcoms of all sorts, opposed to a slight decline in the overall popularity full featured films. It is quite easy to explain and obvious, though – why sit down for two or three hours when you can get the same experience in bite sized-chunks anywhere from just over twenty minutes to an hour. People today don’t have the “blockbuster production” type of time on their hands these days. Anyone who is interested in the cinema would find sitting down for half an hour or an hour at most a lot more compatible with their schedule. What is more, TV shows nowadays have a way better production behind them than the average show ten years ago. Back then, while the biggest dramas or sitcoms had the production value of a small movie per episode, the average was way below that line. On the other hand, nowadays series have a high demand and are enjoying a peak in popularity, which in turn allows them the allocation of a way higher budget which in many cases raises the quality.

Choosing may be a tough thing to do, though. Even so, the fans of American Horror Story have never been disappointed with the show in general. Having a unique, very eerie, yet exciting and leaving you wanting more atmosphere, this horror series doesn’t rely strictly on shock value. Instead, it tells a number of very intricate, intertwining stories which, like every complex plot, can become prone to plot holes and general mistakes.

Let’s take a look at the ten most discussed.
