Established in October 2011 and headquartered in New York City, LDR Capital Management is a hedge fund manager founded by Lawrence D. Raiman. LDR specializes in delivering risk-adjusted returns through investments in various classes of real estate-related securities.

Lawrence Raiman is the Managing Principal, CIO, and Portfolio Manager at LDR Capital Management, where he oversees the management of the LDR Preferred Income Fund catering to accredited investors and qualified purchasers. Before establishing LDR Capital Management, Mr. Raiman served as Managing Director and REIT Research Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse Group for over 15 years. During his tenure at Credit Suisse, he led the firm’s Global Real Estate Securities business, overseeing a team of 11 professionals across New York, Zurich, and Sydney. At its peak, Mr. Raiman's team managed $2.6 billion on behalf of investors. Mr. Raiman earned his MBA from Columbia Business School in 1989 and a Bachelor’s degree in Science majoring in accounting from Pennsylvania State University in 1982. He is also a Certified Public Accountant with expertise spanning portfolio management, securities analysis, and institutional marketing. Mr. Raiman has served on the Board of Trustees of Liberty Property Trust and taught Introductory Real Estate Finance as an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School. He is a member of NAREIT and holds memberships in Penn State’s President’s Club, Mount Nittany Society, and Golden Lion Traditional Society, and is a lifetime member of Penn State’s Alumni Association.
